Faculty Feature Spotlight
Meet Jerry Hooper, Industrial Coordinator in the Business and Industry Services department at the Muskogee Campus! Jerry joined the ICTC team in 2000 and has spent more than two decades supporting technical education and workforce development.
He began his career at ICTC as a Machine Tool Instructor before moving into Business and Industry Services as Safety Coordinator in 2011. Since 2016, Jerry has served as Industrial Coordinator, where he oversees customized Industrial Maintenance training programs and coordinates ICTC’s Training for Industry Programs (TIPS). Through this work, he partners with companies such as CaptiveAire, Schwan’s, Provalus, Refresco, and Millison to help strengthen the regional workforce.
Jerry is also passionate about serving his community. He coordinates ICTC’s Volunteer Firefighter Training Initiative Funding and serves as Assistant Chief of the Keys Volunteer Fire Department.
This past year, Jerry was honored as the ICTC District Professional Support Staff of the Year. Jerry is always willing to help wherever he’s needed, and we are grateful to have him on the ICTC team. Thanks for all you do, Jerry!
